Why Lead With Gold?

If you want to find solutions to challenges you feel are holding you back but don't know where to start, you've come to the right place.

While there isn't much I'm deeply passionate about, there are things I've found over the course of my life that have just plain worked, when nothing else did. Empowering people with that knowledge so they can achieve the dreams they previously felt blocked from is what drives me. 

Keryn's Story

My path has been anything but typical. My family didn't have money. I played competitive sports and was being scouted for sports scholarships as a public high school freshman, but I got injured. I was demoralized, but I pivoted. I focused on academics, and was invited to attend college early, an opportunity I seized, leaving home into the unknown at age 14. I graduated from college three years later at age 17, earned a PhD in statistical genetics and biophysics, and later got an MBA.

I worked in various roles, starting by volunteering for companies I wanted to learn from so I could prove my value. Upon seeing what I could do, they liked how I thought about and approached problems, and the rapid impact I was able to have, and they gave me increasing opportunities. This ultimately led to me running and scaling multiple startups and divisions within Fortune 50 and FAANG companies.

Over the course of these 20+ years of work experience, I've experienced both the objectively wonderful and the overtly terrible. And I've learned. I've adapted. I've had people who were supposed to be mentors steal projects and set me back years. I've made good money, and I've had it taken from me. I've been treated poorly, both personally and professionally. I've felt trapped and hopeless and limited at various points in my life, by my body or my situation. But I've always figured out a way to push through. To claw back. To overcome.

While my specific experience is certainly atypical, the themes aren't. I've found that I keep having similar conversations with my friends, family, and colleagues. We each have our own unique journeys, but as part of the human experience, we go through many good, bad, and ugly things over the course of our lives and careers. My unusual journey has taught me much that others may not have had the opportunity to see yet. The few things I've found that actually work, that have demonstrably changed my own life for the better, I'm extremely passionate about. I want you to be able to have access to and benefit from them too.

Our Mission

I consider it my mission to empower as many people as I can to accelerate their path to achieving their goals, whether they are career, health, being understood, or family-related, and share my learnings so you can get there faster and avoid much of the frustrating trial-and-error and pitfalls I've experienced along my own journey.
